Description

A Daydream brings together butterfly pea flower and chamomile with delicate white tea, supported by rooibos, lemon balm and a touch of lavender. The result is an unusually soft blend whose striking appearance contrasts beautifully with its quiet character.

In the cup, its color moves between deep blue and purple depending on the light. The aroma is remarkably subtle, while the flavor is light and softly floral, with chamomile becoming most noticeable toward the finish. Its mouthfeel is gentle and airy, giving the cup the almost “fluffy” quality noted during our tastings.

Flavor: Delicate, Soft & Floral — One of the gentlest blends in the collection. Expect a light, airy cup rather than an intensely flavored one. Chamomile provides the clearest floral character, while white tea, rooibos, lemon balm and lavender remain subtle supporting voices.

Brewing

Tea: 2 tsp. (3 g) per 8 fl oz of water
Water: 185°F / 85°C
Steep: 4 minutes

The moderate water temperature respects the delicate character of the white tea while still giving the botanicals time to develop. A four-minute steep allows the blend to open gently without trying to turn its naturally subtle character into something it was never intended to be.
