Description
An Old Friend brings together delicate white tea and smooth Oolong, brightened by orange peel and lemongrass with a familiar touch of Earl Grey. The result is a layered tea that feels welcoming without becoming heavy.
In the cup, it brews to the color of warm sunshine. Citrus is present from the beginning, becoming more pronounced as the leaves steep, while the aroma develops an unexpected warmth with an almost honey-like character. The flavor is gently sweet, with citrus emerging toward the finish and lingering softly after the sip.
Flavor: Smooth, Warm & Citrusy — A medium-bodied cup with gentle natural sweetness and a clear but restrained citrus character. White tea and Oolong keep the blend smooth and nuanced, while orange peel, lemongrass and Earl Grey provide brightness without turning it into a sharply citrus-forward tea.
Ingredients: White Tea, Oolong, Orange Peel, Lemongrass, Earl Grey
Caffeine: Contains caffeine — White tea, Oolong and Earl Grey naturally contain caffeine. The exact amount may vary by serving and brewing method.
Brewing
Tea: 1 tsp. (3 g) per 8 fl oz of water
Water: 185–190°F / 85–88°C
Steep: 3½–4 minutes
The moderate water temperature allows the white tea and Oolong to develop without overwhelming their more delicate character, while the longer steep gives the orange peel and lemongrass time to open into the cup. Begin at 3½ minutes for a softer expression or allow the full 4 minutes for a little more body and citrus presence.
